Please share a memory of Russell to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Russell Mack Rhoades Jr, 36, passed away on February 11, 2022.

Russell was born in Fort Myers, Florida on June 21, 1985 to Tammie Ann Rhoades and the late Russell Mack Rhoades.

Russell went on an incredible journey in his lifetime. He was a volunteer firefighter in his hometown of Gatesville, Texas. He was the bravest of the brave and joined the army, where he got to see the world. While in the army he did several tours of duty overseas for his country. He received many honors and badges. After the army he was an avid outdoorsman. He loved trail riding, snowmobiling, and hunting. He loved being outdoors and it didn't matter the weather.  He loved his guns and loved to shoot them. He loved to travel. He had visited almost every state in the continental US. He had tattoos that explained where he had been. He could make a friend anywhere he went. He always had a smile on his face that would make any one smile back. He was 6'4 and had a personality to match. He loved to cook and claimed to be a master chef. He would try any food at least once, more daring than most. He was self driven, accomplishing every goal he set for himself. He traveled all over the world and had stories for days. He loved his family. There were daily phone calls, video chats, messaging and visits. His girls are at the top of his loved list. He was so excited when Mackenzi was born and then came Emaleigh. He loved being a girl dad. He wore the nail polish and the makeup to make them happy. His world truly did revolve around his children.

Russell is preceded in death by his father, Russell Mack Rhoades. He is survived by his mother Tammie Ann Rhoades, two older sisters Wendy and Angel, three beautiful daughters Mackenzi 4 Emaleigh 1 and Tatumn 19, girlfriend Breanne, one niece, several nephews, many family members and many many friends.
