AIKEN, SC – Shirley Mae Smith, age 77, passed away Monday, January 17, 2022.

Shirley was born July 16, 1944 in Concord, NC to the late John Rayvon Smith and Eva Hartsell Smith. She had been a resident of Aiken, SC for the past three years, having previously lived in Rock Hill, SC. She had a sincere love for animals.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Woodward.

Survivors include a daughter, Dana Eiser; a son, Bryan Lilly; two grandchildren, Alyssa and Bryant Eiser; and a great-grandson, Jett Eiser.

Memorial contributions may be directed to The Aiken SPCA.
