Obituary of Harold Norris

     Harold Norris, 87, widower of the late Sylvia Norris has passed away Sunday, December 26, 2021 at the Westminister Memory Care following an extended illness. 

     Born in Burke County, GA on June 26, 1934, he was the son of the late Dutch and Alice Norris. Mr. Norris was a mail carrier with the United States Postal Service for 36 years having delivered mail in Augusta, GA and North Augusta, SC. He was also the former owner and operator of Belvedere Cleaners for 24 years. He enjoyed camping with family as well as guns and rifles. 

     Surviving are his daughter, Teresa Teuton of Graniteville; 2 sons, Ronald (Angie) Norris of North Augusta and James Raymond "Jim" Norris of Clearwater. In addition he leaves behind grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

     Graveside services will be conducted on Wednesday morning, December 29, 2021 at 11:00am in Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. K. Scott Ayers officiating.
