I went by the gas station today asking where Matt was and I heard the news. He would always tell me how ugly my car was and I would always tell him he looked like one of the guys from the rock group "Tears For Fears." I always admired his stability for he never seemed to ever get real angry over anything. I've known him since working at Bi-Lo with him and he kept his dry wit all those years. The last time I saw him at the gas station, two people drove off with the gas nozzle still in their tank. One because he won some money on the scratch offs. Pleasant people come and go in life but people you can argue with for over 20 years and still like them are hard to come by. He will be greatly missed.
