Obituary of Robert Bruce Pierson

     Robert Bruce Pierson, 78, beloved husband of Betty Faye Turner Pierson, passed away Saturday, September 25, 2021 at Aiken Regional Medical Center following an illness.

     Born in Johnson City, New York, on May 28, 1943, Mr. Pierson was the son of the late Lewis Isaac & Ardelle Phyllis Davis Pierson. Mr. Pierson was the retired owner of the Big Chick Restaurant in Aiken, SC and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on Pine Log Road, Aiken. Mr. Pierson was a proud United States Marine Corps Veteran. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend.

     Surviving in addition to his wife are 2 sons, Lewis Brice Pierson of Graniteville & Robert Bruce (Stephanie) Pierson, II of Lumberton, NC; a step son, Anthony Brett (Dana) Harmon of Tallahassee, FL; 2 step-daughters, Jennifer (Brett) Tidd of Charlotte, NC & Wanda (Rhonda) Harmon of Summerville, SC; two sisters, Nancy Farris & Susan Rhodes both of Estill, SC and numerous grandchildren.

     Graveside services with Military Honors will be conducted on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at 3:00p.m. in Langley Cemetery with Bishop Philip Young officiating.

     The family will receive friends from 2:00pm until the hour of the service at the graveside.
