I can’t believe such a vibrant, gentle, musical man and friend is gone on to play his tunes with all the other musicians in the next world. I am sure Jim was there, handing him a guitar to welcome him. I will miss his gentle presence at polo games and his easy-listening music downtown.

Sad day when a gentleman classmate leaves is behind. My last conversation with Rick at a Regis reunion was a true revelation. We talked about freshman year at Regis and his ordeal which few really understood. The amazing life he carved out for himself as a rancher in The Sangre de Christo of Colorado. I was fascinated as I was on the consumer end of his efforts for my horse ranch here in CA. I truly wish the years would have made our paths cross more because Ricks spirit brought joy, love, amazement & admiration into mine whenever I was around him. Rest in peace my friend, until we meet again.

He was a good man always happy always helpful always entertaining always with a quick smile and a thoughtful piece of advice - they just don't like men like Rick Scott anymore - I am grateful I could consider him a friend. The world was a little better place with him in it
