Katherine Louise Pomeroy Welcher, 52, loving wife of David Keith Welcher, II passed away, Friday, September 17, 2021 at Aiken Regional Medical Center following a sudden illness.

Katherine was born on November 15, 1968, the daughter of Carll F. & Dorleen Louise Cantley Pomeroy. Katherine was a devoted wife, mother, and grammie and worked tirelessly ensuring everything ran smoothly in her home. She was a member of Millbrook Baptist Church where she was a member of the Sanctuary Choir. She always loved singing in the Living Christmas Tree Presentations. She loved her church and her Sunday School Class dearly. She also loved traveling with her family to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure in Florida. She also loved traveling with her husband on many business trips and visiting with all his work friends.

Surviving in addition to her husband and her parents, Katherine is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Kirsten & Michael Alexander of Aiken; a son, David Keith Welcher, III of Aiken; a sister, Karen (Daniel) Workman of South Charleston, West Virginia; two brothers, Stephen (April) Pomeroy of Holly Springs, MS and Charles “Chuck” (Melissa) Pomeroy of Alkol, West Virginia; and the two twinkling sparkles in her eyes, her grandchildren, Wyatt Alexander & Ethan Welcher.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at 7:00p.m. at Millbrook Baptist Church with the Rev. Bill Howard, III officiating.

The family will receive friends at the church from 6:00p.m. until 7:00p.m. Tuesday evening.
