JACKSON, SC - Frank P. Casisa, age 74, entered into rest on Tuesday, March 28, 2017. Mr. Casisa was born September 21, 1942 in Casteldaccia, Italy to the late Giovanni and Rosalia Casisa. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and retired as a service manager in the automobile industry. Mr. Casisa had been an area resident for the past 38 years and a communicant of St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church. He enjoyed wood-working, gardening, and spending time at the beach with his family. In addition to his parents, Mr. Casisa was preceded in death by his brother, John Casisa, Jr. He is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Ina Casisa; a son John Casisa (Michelle), Huntersville, NC; two daughters, Rosemarie Adams (Todd), Aiken, SC and Erina Flowers (Merritt), Columbia, SC; five grandchildren, Nick, Nina, Lilly, Stella, and Carly; a sister, Maria Stella Vasile, Staten Island, NY; and a host of extended family. The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 9:00 AM on Friday, March 31, 2017 followed by a funeral liturgy celebrated at 10:00 AM in the George Funeral Chapel with the Very Rev. Father Gregory Wilson as celebrant. Final prayers and commendation will be at 12:00 PM at Ft. Jackson National Cemetery, 4170 Percival Road, Columbia, SC 29229.
