Obituary of William F. Groves

Mr. William F. Groves, 84, husband of the late Phyllis L. Groves, died Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at his home in Williston.  

Mr. Groves was born in Marshall, VA on June 16, 1936 to the late Henery D. Groves and Ella Sue Sherman.  

He was a hard worker and took good care of his family. He loved spending time with family and friends.  

He was preceded in death by his sons, William F. Groves Jr. and Francis D. Groves.  

Surviving are his daughters Alice Paul of Myrtle Beach, SC; Ella Sue (Larry) Settle of Manassas, VA; Lucretia (Bob) Barlow of Albuquerque, NM; daughter-in-law Nancy Groves of Williston, SC; sons Thomas (Leah) Groves of Hico, WV; Donald (Laneen) Groves of Daisetta, TX; David (Stacy) Groves of Myrtle Beach, SC.  

Mr. Groves had 21 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
