Funeral services for Mrs. Corinna Ada Rollins "Snookie" Golding will take place on Friday, December 3, 2010 at 11am at George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 211 Park Ave. SW, Aiken, with Rev. Dewayne Anderson officiating. Pallbearers will be Michael Golding, Jeremy Golding, Jimmy Golding, Scott Heath, Craig Heath and Chris Busch. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Sonshine Sunday School Class. Interment will follow at Aiken Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening, 6-8pm at the funeral home and at other times, at the homes of David Golding and Ronnie Golding. Memorial donations may be directed to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research, Church Street Station, PO Box 780, New York, NY 10008-0780. Mrs. Golding, 84, of Couchton, died Sunday November 28, 2010 at UniHealth PAC- Aiken. A daughter of the late Arthur Rollins and Lillian Johnson Rollins, she was a life long resident of Aiken County. She was a member of Solid Rock Baptist Church and was part of the Sonshine Sunday School class. "Snookie" was well known for her role as a caregiver for older folks and especially those experiencing Alzheimer type symptoms. She was a long time doll collector and also liked to work with ceramics and oil paints. In addition to her parents, she was pre-deceased by her husband, William J. Golding, a son, Anthony Wayne Golding and a sister, Celia Ann Ralph Moore. She is survived by three sons, David William Golding Faye, Couchton, Ronald Alvin Golding Ruth, Aiken and Larry Arthur Golding Pauline, Ocala, FL, three sisters; Ruth Cooper Alfred Aiken, Marie Heath Charles, Aiken, Betty Busch the late Richard, Aiken, and a brother; Alvin Rollins Ida Lee, Graniteville. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; Anthony Golding, Jimmy Golding, Gregory Golding, Stewart Golding, Michael Golding, Jeremy Golding, Billy Golding and Sandy Golding and fifteen great grandchildren; Ashley, Corinna & Owen Golding, Jordan and Haley Golding, Ben, Chandler and Grace Golding, Anthony and Mattie Golding and Brady, Emily, Rizanna, Rebecca and Miracle Golding and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to express their appreciation to all the employees of the Memory Ward at UniHealth PAC Aiken.
