My sister Jill and I would like to share our condolences with the Burke family. We grew up with the Burke girls in Ambler, PA and have many happy memories of time spent in their home on Butler Pike. Mr. Burke was a very kind man and cared for us as if we were members of his family. We spent many happy nights sleeping over at the fabulous Burke house filled with lovely antiques. He had a beautiful home and, even as young girls, we could appreciate his esthetic and taste. We can both picture him sitting with a cocktail in hand in the little sitting room behind the staircase, enjoying some fine classical music on his stereo system. Like our own father, he knew how to lay down the law for his daughters, and Jill and I certainly related to a strong father figure! We'll never forget the time, while Phil was working for Servomation, that he sent caseloads of butterscotch pudding to the Outer Banks while his daughters camped with us one summer. We will always cherish our fond memories of Phil. We were sad to learn of his passing; he will always hold a special place in our hearts.
