Obituary of Elizabeth Squires

Greenville, SC - Elizabeth "Libby: Squires, 90, passed away on January 27th after a long and often lonely journey through these COVID times.

She was a long time resident of New Milford CT but in recent years, has resided in SC to be near her children. She was married to the late Gerald T. Squires. Libby was an RN who worked at New Milford Hospital, at the VNA and in the school system. 

She leaves behind her 3 children and their spouses; Michael G. Squires and Corinne Squires of Fort Pierce, FL , Barbara Squires-Roehl and Edwin A. Roehl of Greenville, SC, and Mark Squires an Carol Leindecker of Aiken, SC. She had 5 grandchildren including the late Michelle Osman, Jason Squires, Edwin "Trey" Roehl III, Thomas Roehl and Andrew Roehl and 4 great grandchildren including William Squires, Dylan Squires, Jordan Rodriguez, and Alyson Squires. Two additional great grandchildren are on the way. 

Her greatest love was for her family and in return, she was adored by her family. 

At a future date, there will be a graveside service at St. Francis Cemetery in New Milford CT for family and friends.
