The Department of Georgia Disabled American Veterans thanks Robert E. Ruddy for his honorable service to our nation. May he rest in peace and may his memory be a blessing to his family and all who knew him. Albert Boudy, DAV State Chaplain
Shelby and family, Donna & I offer our deepest sympathy on the passing of Bob. His wisdom and crackling sense of humor were among his many attributes. We particularly admired his lifelong commitment to public service from his early years in the U.S. Army to his decades of service on staffs of the U.S. House and Senate and his service to President Nixon and President Ford as a member of their administrations. He was a dedicated public servant who strived to make his nation better. May the many happy memories of a life well-lived sustain you through these difficult days.
