Prayers to the Gibbs family in the loss of Tommy!! May God give you comfort and peace!!
I remember spending many family get togethers in Aiken with Tommy and Donna as a young child. Later on we would see Tommy at Gamecock football games in Columbia. He was always the nicest person to be around and always smiling.

Gibbs family,
I am sorry for your loss. We used to be neighbors a long time ago on Colonial Drive. I have fond memories of the Gibbs family. Of course I remember Mr. Gibbs' sister, Coach Gibbs, from high school days. I hope you find comfort in God's love for you.

Tommy has been a long time friend and co-worker. Tommy helped us when we started our own business. He took me to go get the first truck we needed to start hauling product. We will never forget that and he will be truly missed.
Sending condolences to Will and the rest of the family.

The Gibbs family were our neighbors in Kalmia Hills Westcliff. We have fond memories of sharing times with them in our neighborhood. Tommy and I last enjoyed a special time together this spring on Park Avenue in Aiken, watching the Aiken High School pandemic style parade. Rest in peace, Tommy

We had some great times sitting together watching my son and his grandson’s play baseball together. He would always sit close to the dugout in case he needed to give them some advice. He is going to be missed by everyone of the lives he touched. He was a wonderful man and Loved his Grandsons!!!

Where do I begin? I have so many memories of living next to the Gibbs family—and many years after. I’ve known this crew since I was 10.
Donna and Tommy lumped John in as if we were their own kids....Tommy ALWAYS made a special effort to connect with us—even after we moved away. I have a charm bracelet that says “We love you. The Cooters” bc we all watched The Dukes of Hazard show and I called Tommy “Coot”—a sweet, funny character on the show. Tommy, Donna, Beth and Will piled in the car, drove 3 hours and surprised me at Jim’s Drive In In McColl, SC just to come to my college graduation. That’s just like them and Tommy too. Tommy showed up at the hospital with Will and Johns blanket when John was hit by the car. Tommy showed up every Sunday at church to shake Austin’s hand and to lock eyes with him. Tommy often showed up for Mom and Dad and Dawson with a good laugh. Tommy showed up for the Gamecocks weekly. The thing is, Tommy had a sweet and gentle way about always showing up to be supportive or laugh—even when you didn’t know you need it. What a wonderful gift to me and my family. I hope I continue to be that person no matter how nervous I may feel about showing up for someone else. After all, all Tommy did was just “show up”.
