So sorry for your loss Laura, Joe and Chris and families. Our friendship with your Mother goes back to when your family moved down the block from us in Brentwood when our children were all small. Tom and your Dad were friends before that in Hollis where they both were brought up. Flo and I joined a bowling league when Chris and my Debbie were still in play pens. Their move to Holtsville didn’t end our friendship. We celebrated with parties at our house or theirs. Flo and Jack were family to us. Flo was a wonderful caring, loving and fun person. Florence was a sweet, kind and wonderful person who always made you welcome in her home. I will never forget all the Easters and fourth of July parties she and Jackie had at their home in Holtsville. She was a great host and always made you feel comfortable . My family had many great times and memories at all their parties they had. We will miss her and will always treasure the memories we had with her. Sending our love , thoughts and prayers to my cousins Laura, Joe , and Chris. Love Darlene and Gus

Florence had always been a compassionate and welcoming neighbor. She heroically coached me through Mahjong (Sadly, it was never in my stars); we both appreciated Joan Baez and Bluegrass music. Flo, and husband Joe, happily participated in many Kalmia Landing activities. Our whole community will now feel the loss emanating from Larchmont Place. I wish peace to all her family; I am happy Flo has found hers. Helen Boyce
