As a flight attendant with Delta, of course I got to all the southern cities often, and one day I was in Augusta, Ga and I was standing in the front of the plane boarding it and down the jetway walks my precious Uncle George! We just ran to each other and hugged and I am saying to everyone, "This is my Uncle George, this is my Uncle George!" like I couldn't believe how lucky I was to be able to see him. I was based in Chicago and seemed to never even run into friends that I grew up with, so It was a small world that day. He was like that though, you always felt such a joy and warmth with him around and he was a bright light in this world. He will truly be missed, but I am so glad that he was my Uncle even thought I didn't get to see him often. I was Lucky to catch up with him at Lindsay's wedding. I also just want Aunt Anna and Elaine to know that my Mom, Ruth just adored her big brother and when they were together they seemed like kids again. Love to you all.
