There's some folks that cross your path that leave a lasting footprint. That was Emmett and Jewel. I was the one privileged to sell the Old Thicket home to this fine couple in 2005 - just after giving up the 10 years of living on board a boat. The stories were incredible. Then there was St Patrick's Day and Rose Hill where Emmett sang Oh Danny Boy that brought tears to one's eyes. A St Patrick's never went by that I didn't wonder where he was signing that song. Our thought and prayers are with the entire family. May many happy memories and God's great love surround you.
