To the Price Family. The Department of Georgia Disabled American Veterans (DAV) expresses our heartfelt condolences and prayers on the passing of Mr. Price. May God’s grace and peace comfort you during your time of bereavement. Pappy Sam was always good to us and our girls, Rebecca & Rachel. He always enjoyed time spent with family and you just had to look into his eyes to see his love for Nana Price. After Nana Price passed, he was cleaning out his house and gifted us with a desk he'd made. His great granddaughters now use that desk. Rest in peace Pappy Sam.

Mike & Janice Antonio We had great times with Sam as everyone knows he was kind, thoughtful, happy and he always had a joke or good story to tell. Over the years articles would pop up about Sam's accomplishments time and time again reinforcing his good character. Wayne and Jean were always there for times of need for Sam and Eva they were a pair that you wanted to be there for them. Wow a few weeks shy of 100 years, Sam was deserving of that. So sorry that his family and friends could not be as close to him because of the virus, he did not deserve that.

Sam was a wonderful father-in-law. He was always polite and even at the end would call me "Mam" when answering a question. Quite a gentleman.

We loved visiting with Sam and Eva when they lived in Middletown, DE, and when seeing them at various car shows. Both were exceptional people. Sam was not only a good man but also a humble one. We have missed those "good ole days" - and miss them both. Karen & Bill Whitaker
