Obituary of Della Skipper Garrick

NORTH AUGUSTA, SC – Della Skipper Garrick, age 64, entered into rest at her home surrounded by family on Sunday, June 28, 2020.

Della was born August 28, 1955 in Kingstree, SC to the late Alfred Edison Skipper and the late Dorothy Cox Skipper. She had made the local area her home for the past twenty-four years. She was General Manager of Skateland of Augusta; a job she thoroughly enjoyed. She was a great wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved children, especially her grandson, Jackson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Joshua Garrick.

Survivors include her husband of forty-three years, Stephen Carroll Garrick; a daughter, Amber Skye Garrick, North Augusta, SC; a grandson, Jackson Skye Whittaker; a sister, Sarah Patton (Roy); and a brother, Alfred Skipper (Bess).

The family will hold a private celebration at later date.
