Bob and Jacqui were the most loving friends that my parents Merle and Judy Millham could have had, in Aiken and beyond. The last wedding Bob officiated was for our daughter Keri, in Nashville, TN. My husband Wade and I visited with them numerous times in Lake Junaluska. I have such wonderful memories of them both !! My husband Wade now suffers from late stage Parkinson’s Disease. I offer my sincere condolences to the family.

Becky and Bobby, I’m so sorry to learn of the death of your mother on Friday. Jackie and Bob were dear friends and neighbors while we lived at Lake J. Sorry that after we moved and Geneal passed, I lost touch. Love to you both and Harper.

I was the associate pastor of Bethel UMC Charleston for 2 years under your father. It was a true joy to serve with him. He taught me so much about life and ministry. It was also a pleasure to know your mother. She was a delightful person and so welcoming to me and my wife. Please know that y’all are in our prayers as you celebrate your mother’s homegoing. The two of them are now with Christ, who they served so faithfully for so many years ... and they are also reunited with one another and all the saints in glory. The peace of Christ be with you. Bobby, Harper, Becky and Family,
Don and I send our love to you during this sad time. Your Mom was such a lovely, gracious lady! I have many fond memories of both of your parents and Bill. You will continue to be in our thoughts and prayers.
Love,
Ginny Barrett Patten
Jackie was such a friendly, lovely woman. We had matching Chico’s broomstick skirts, which we once wore on the same Sunday at Waynesville First UMC—and laughed about the coincidence!
