Mrs. Shallo came into my life in 1985 while she was teaching at Katherine Gibbs School. She was kind, caring and supportive. I would not be the person I am today without her and I am I was so honored to have her part of my life. I have such fond memories that I will forever carry in my heart.

To Frank and Family from Spencer Williams, Jim Williams and Terry Spencer (Williams), We are sorry to be so late in letting you know that we were affected by the death of your dear wife and Mom. Frank was so good to the "kids" at First Presbyterian and I recall his efforts to get them to walk in honor of and pledges with Harriet's MS. It was such a pleasure to have known you, Frank, and thank God for you and your wife who helped shape and make an important impression on the young ones coming up in the church and in the world! May God's grace suffice and may His hand lead you, guide you, comfort you. Blessings to all, Terry, Jim and Spencer

I knew Mrs. Shallo when she lived a in va. I was struggling to build my maid service way back then. She gave me a chance and hired me. I dont know if she knew it but she was my first client. i worked for the Shallo family many years there until they moved. They had a dog named Christina that i remember well. Harriet was always very kind to me. Always encouraged me to keep up the good work. And always complemented me which gave me the confidence to continue working in that field 29 years later, now retired. I had thought about her all these years and had the idea that i may contact her in some way when i stumbled upon the news that she had gone home to be with our dear Lord . I know that she is resting peacefully with him . Its been a long time since we had seen each other but i know we will meet again in Gods house. Ps.she made the best lemonade and cookies with which she was so generous..always leaving me a note saying..please have some. Thank you Mrs. Shallo , i have never forgotten you dear. ⚘michelle lamatrice mcdonald

What a sweet, lovely woman and a faithful intercessor! I had the privilege of knowing Harriet through our NBC women’s Bible study and through our prayer network, Bosom Buddies. I will always remember her gentle, supportive spirit. May God comfort and strengthen her loving family during this time of grief. Though I feel the sadness of loss, I am thankful she is released from suffering and in the presence of our Lord...Love, Lorraine Ray
