I will always have very pleasant memories of David: frequently seeing him walking with Sharon and their dog, chatting with him about house remodeling, and seeing him at Habitat when dropping off donations. Ann and I will miss him.

I’m so sorry for your loss. May the God of all comfort help you during this difficult time. (2 Corinthians 1:3,4 & Psalms 83:18). Jesus prayed for God’s Kingdom to come because He knew it would be able to solve all mankind’s problems even death. (Revelation 21:4,5 & Daniel 2:44).

Sorry to hear this. Dave and I grew up together on the south side of Fort Wayne, IN. If I had a dollar for every mile Dave, Pat Chasey and I put on our Schwinn bikes riding around, I would be a millionaire. Great times to be a kid. Hopefully the picture of us in the fifth grade comes across. It was around 1957 at South Calhoun Elementary School. Good times Dave, sorry we didn’t get to say hello and have another laugh or two. David always talked about the days when he was free to ride his bike all over town and play tennis. Yes, those were the good days. He said his mother always called him "alley cat." We would always take long walks in the neighborhood when in Ft. Wayne. There was always something to do. Have you seen Pat lately. I don't think he attended the reunions.

David and I were high school classmates and we had some overlapping friendship circles. We always made sure to catch up with each other at our high school reunions. We should be having our 55th this year. Dave was the epitome of an all around nice guy. I’ll miss him and the world is diminished by his loss. My deepest sympathies to the family. Dr. Robert Gebfert.

I too always will remember my Uncle David trying to figure how things work. I remember playing dice at my grandma and grandpas house whenever we were there together. You will truly be missed Uncle David!!!! Love you! God Bless you!!!

John...even though you lived far away, we always had fun at our family get togethers. We will have special memories to keep us going. This may be an ending for David on earth, but he will have a new beginning in heaven. Love you. Aunt Sharon
