Mike and I would like to express our deepest sympathy to Randall, Cathy, and the entire Brown family. Marilyn was such a sweet lady. I have her cook book, Thoroughbred Fare which she spearheaded, and will treasure it even more now that I know she was instrumental in getting it published. While I have known Marlyn for years, I really enjoyed visiting with her in her later years while visiting at her son's home. May she rest in peace. God bless her entire family. Nance and Mike Dukes

Although I only met Marilyn two years ago, we found many common interests and shared lots of laughs. I loved her stories, her humor, and we shared a love for our President. Her wish was that she could make it to November to vote him in again. I love her and miss her greatly. RIP, dear Marilyn.

Another of Aiken's legends has passed away. Mrs. Brown was a wonderful person and always supported the Parks, Recreation and Tourism Department. It was a privilege to have known her. Prayers to her family.
