We met you and Alexa at the USC Scholarship Recipient Reception in April of 2016. We had the fortune of you and Alexa sitting at our table. Trevor and Alexa became instant friends. He said from the minute they met, he felt like they had been friends forever. You opened your home to Trevor. You said that if he attended USC and could not come for any reason that he could go home with Alexa and you would take care of him. Even though he did not choose USC, Trevor and Alexa remained friends. We adored Alexa from the moment we met her. She was a beautiful soul. We are glad that Trevor was fortunate to have Alexa as a friend. Sending all of our prayers, thoughts and love from CT.

I taught Alexa for one year at South Aiken High School and remember her well as a wonderful student with a bright future. I'm very sad today to learn of her passing. The world is much darker since the loss of Alexa. I will always remember her shining smile and sweet personality. Although she was not my student at St. Mary's, I spent a lot of time with her in Junior High and especially helping Mrs. Miller with the 8th Grade. Alexa was a prime example of the qualities we wished for all students. My heart aches for the family and I pray for God's strength and peace through this most difficult time.
