Obituary of Kathy Christine James

WARRENVILLE, SC – Kathy Christine White James, 56, passed away quietly Sunday, February 16, 2020 surrounded by her family.

Born March 9, 1963 in Aiken, SC, she is the daughter of the late William and Helen White.

Kathy was a lifelong resident of Aiken County, where she spent most of her time raising her children and her husband Ricky D. James. Kathy had a passion for her family, as well as playing and making video games. She will be forever remembered in the hearts of her loved ones for her strong family values, the love she had for her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, and for her great sense of humor.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother.

Kathy is remembered by her husband of 40 years Ricky Darryl James, her children, Ricky Darryl James Jr (Latasha) of Wagener, SC, Candace James (Guy Painter) of Wagener, SC, Jennifer Dodson (Benjamin) of Williston, SC, and Cheryl Shumpert (Kevin) of Wagener, SC; her brothers, William L. White, Jerry White, David White, Timothy White; her sister Teresa Myers; her grandchildren; Jade James, David Snipes, Bryanna Dodson, Levi Dodson, Carolina Dodson, Emily Dodson, Haily Shumpert, Cameron Shumpert, King Shumpert, Kayla Painter, Keira Painter, Kadence Painter, Savannah Woodard, Chloe Murphy, Bryson James, Carragin Woodard, Peyton McFatter, Zoey McFatter; and her great grandchildren, Maleni Mary-Ellen Garrett, Harper Grace Murphy.

Per Kathy’s request no formal services will be held.
