BEECH ISLAND, SC – Ronald Ray Tomey,80, of Cordes Lakes, AZ, passed away quietly on Feb 14, 2020. Born in Linn, West Virginia on December 27, 1939, Ronald spent most of his life in Arizona, arriving in the early 1960’s and staying until he needed assistance, staying with his daughter in Beech Island, SC. Ronald Tomey worked hard in life, first as a butcher, and later, as a construction worker, retiring with Sundt Construction. He loved Arizona, fishing, hunting, doing all things outdoors.

Ronald Tomey was born to a large family headed by Howard and Eva Tomey of Linn, WV. Of 16 siblings, Ronald is survived by 5, Faye Tomey of Globe, AZ, as well as Jackie, Dale, Betty, and Rosalea Tomey, spread all over the Southeast. Ronald loved being a Dad to his 5 kids, Edward Tomey (Jean), John Tomey, Sharon Gill (Brian), Shelly Kandian (Vincent), and Steven Tomey (Lachelle). He is also survived by his much beloved and loyal pup Patches.
Ronald Tomey will be cremated in Aiken, SC at George Funeral Home. A memorial will be scheduled in AZ later in the spring.
