Mike Wood was truly a good guy. I knew him best during my time in the Aiken SERTOMA Club (1983-96) -- he was one of its hardest working, enthusiastic, dependable, positive, loyal members -- and I think he continued contributing to the Club up until recently. I enjoyed talking with him when we ran into each other around town in the intervening years. I'm proud to say we were friends. Bob Newburn Aiken SC
