Memorial services for Mr. Edward Norman Watson, Sr. will be held Saturday, September 30, 2006 at 2pm at South Aiken Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses with Gerry Jackson officiating. George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 211 Park Avenue, SW, Aiken. Mr. Watson, 62, of Aiken, died Wednesday, September 27, 2006 at University Hospital, Augusta. Mr. Watson was born in Newark, NJ to Dorothy Oyler Watson Hamilton and the late Charles E. Watson. Mr. Watson moved from Batesburg to Aiken in 1985. He was a heavy equipment operator at Southern Grading and Paving, and an Elder of Aiken Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. Mr. Watson was predeceased by his father, Charles E. Watson. In addition to his mother, Mr. Watson is survived by his wife Sharon K. Reimer Watson; sons, Harold Susan Watson, St. Johnsville, NY, Edward Sabrina Watson, Jr., Sandersville, GA, Michael Denise Watson, Montmorenci, Charlie Denise Watson, Stephen StephaunWatson, both of Aiken, John Kathie Watson, Pullyup, WA, David Kristie Watson, New Ellenton; sisters; Rynda Lasowitz, Charlotte Wiegand, Judith Davis, all of Aiken; sixteen grandchildren; aunt, Ruth Defriend, Aiken, cousin, David Defriend, and several nieces and nephews.
