Memorial services for Leonard Thomas Carlin, 80, of Aiken, will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 17, 2015 at the Chapel of GEORGE FUNERAL HOME. Officiating will be Rev. Jimmy Napier. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army, PO Box 439, Aiken, SC 29802. Mr. Carlin, passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2015. Born in West Plains, Missouri, he was a son of the late George Carlin and Pearl Gilmore. Mr. Carlin was a US Army Veteran and was the owner of Tommy's TV. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Rae Carlin and a brother Bill Gilmore. Survivors include his wife, Patsy Carlin of Aiken; daughters, Karen Hendricks (Ken) of Aiken and Brenda Padgett (Bill) of Graniteville; sons, Dennis Carlin (Roxanne) of Sharpsburg, Georgia and Kenneth Carlin of Aiken; brothers, Gene Gilmore of Aiken and Larry Gilmore of Oklahoma; grandchildren, Ben Efird of Hahira, Georgia, Heather Empie of Virginia, Korilyn Hendricks of Aynor, Ashton Hendricks, Rachel Simmons, Rebecca Royer, Brandon Williams and Chad Padgett all of Aiken, Lauren and Brooke Carlin of Sharpsburg, GA and 5 great-grandchildren.
