AIKEN, SC- Mr. John (Sean) T. Niland, Jr., 63, departed this life October 27, 2014. He is survived by his sister, Lucinda (Cindy) Niland and is predeceased by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John T. and Jean Niland. Having attended Aiken High School and the Citadel, Mr. Niland spent his working career in banking and home mortgage management. At that time, he resided in Charleston, SC. When his mother became ill, he returned to Aiken and served as caregiver until her death. In addition to his sister, Mr. Niland leaves a multitude of friends whom he loved and cherished. Interment will be private in Aiken Memorial Gardens. Donations in his memory may be made to the Aiken SPCA Albrecht Center for Animal Welfare, 199 Willow Run Rd., Aiken, SC 29801.
