I met Liz in Edisto Beach, South Carolina, at Becky Locke’s cottage where she hosted “Moms Who’ve Lost Kids” group. What a character! She will be missed!

Dear Chuck, Kelly, and Stacey, Your mom loved nature, she loved the beach most, but she loved all of nature. We had a wonderful time in the mountains one year so we are planting a tree in her honor. With love and blessings, Debbie and Len

Liz was my mentor when I became an MSHA instructor at Aiken Technical College and we became fast friends. We traveled together to do training at various mines throughout the state. Liz loved my mother-in-law Rosemary, who had Alzheimer's, and Lis would take Rosemary driving in her Mustang with the top down. Liz fit right into our family and we went on vacations and cruises together. My husband Len and Liz had a good time talking sports together, although the only team they agreed on is the Boston Red Sox! Last week Liz told me that my coming to visit her gave her peace, I miss you friend, rest in peace with the Lord.
