I will miss you my friend Brenda, we had such fun times playing together as kids, since we lived right down the street from each other, we would ride our bikes together, swimming in the mudhole down the corner from her house. I would come over and spend the night with you and Mr. and Mrs. Rollins were always polite to me. I remember Mr. Rollins hobby was his boat and Mr. Rollins was a polite hostess. Me, Carol, and Sally, always felt welcomed by your family, the Rollins family, Dwight, Kay, Cheryl and you. We were a few years apart, but we had fun playing at the golf course across the street riding the golf carts. Your sister Cheryl was like a step sister to the Swanson family clan as well as my mom and dad especially. We would go over each ones house and visit with the other. Cheryl always brought laughter and joy to all our lives, even though she grew up and had heart problems herself. She was truly a miracle.
Brenda, I know we grew apart, got married and I moved away. But nothing will ever take away the friendship we had and how much fun we had together, you made part of my childhood memories wonderful.
I ask forgiveness and am sorry that I did not see you before you passed away, I deeply regret not taking the timeout to visit you, but I do show respect and will always remember you from my childhood, the fun we had. That is in my heart to remember and cherish always for the rest of my life, as I would think that's how you remembered it as well and would have wanted it.
I'll see you again my childhood friend Brenda, Cause I plan on going to heaven too and I'll meet up to play with you there. Love your friend forever, Shirley
