The few memories of my Aunt June over the decades bring me great joy. What a blessing to have had such a beautiful person in our lives. Considering I adore humor - she was a big hit with me. I loved to read the birthday cards she would send my mother to see how they measured up with mine on the laughter scale.
It brings me peace knowing Aunt June had a happy life - and that she left so many smiles behind.
My thoughts and prayers to Danford and Sandra and all the family.

We lived next door to June and loved having her as a neighbor. None better! She was always a day-brightener, friendly with a ready smile and an often-humorous remark. Everyone should have a neighbor like that. We will miss her!

I worked with June as a state bank examiner during the early 1970's; she was a welcomed addition to the group of "grizzled old warriors" and "wet behind the ears whipper-snappers". I was one of the "whipper-snappers" and thoroughly enjoyed working with June until I left to return to USC to earn my degree. We stayed in touch over the years, exchanging Xmas cards, etc., and even visiting, on occasion. She was so proud of Sandra and Danford; they meant the world to her, I'm sure. I'm so very sorry to learn of her passing; she was truly one of a kind. Sincerely, Marion McDonald...........

Dear Sandra and Danford,
I am very sorry for your loss and I have only fond memories of your Mother. She was a Mentor to my Mother in the banking business and I believe one of her most respected and best friends during the F&M years and longer. June always lifted me above my circumstances. She “made” me go to the movies and watch baseball with her as a 10 year old when my folks had to be out of town. There are not many folks in our lives that we can say we only have fond memories of.
Take care of yourselves!
