Dear Ginny's Family Members,
Though I did not know Regina 'Ginny' Brooks directly, I feel I know her as she was married to Alan Brooks, a direct descendant of Leopold Brooks Senior.
Regina was a kind lovely lady and I am proud to be able to send along my belated condolences to her family and friends.
I am an unofficial family genealogist and in search of Family Relatives descending from Leopold Brooks Senior to Leopold Brooks Jr., to Milton Brooks to Alan Brooks (Ginny's husband and Leopold Senior's Great Grandson) to their kids Chad and Alan and their kids.
My partner, Hans Rene Bloch Schroder, is the great-great-great grandson of the first Leopold Brooks Senior, so we are related if distantly.
I am hoping that one of the family members can contact me so that a connection can be made to the Brooks family and that this branch of the family tree be enhanced. I am happy to share what I know with whoever might be interested in this family connection.
If any one or all of Ginny's family can contact me, I'd me most appreciative.
Very sincerely,
Patricia Horvath

I only just learned of Ginny's passing. I so admired and loved this wonderful woman, she was always so full of life. I remember she use to organize and lead the Passover Seders in different venues. She was a strong and gentle soul. I will miss her very much. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends and her congregation at this time.

Alan, Ginny was my friend in high school. I have fond memories of her laughter and those beautiful freckles on her face, and mostly, her friendship. My mom always said she believed our lives were made of our memories, and I'm sure you have many wonderful thoughts and memories shared with Ginny. With sympathy. Betty
