To all: Eric was my older first cousin. My Mom (Loris) and my Dad (James) used to visit Aiken when I was a young boy. I would always be excited about seeing my older cousins and looked up to Eric and David. God rest you Eric, please give your Mom a hug from me.

Eric and I were fishing buddies and he came by the house quite often because when I boiled peanuts I'd call him to come get a big bag and we'd talk for over an hour. He had an amazing memory and was fun to talk to and my wife and Billy enjoyed his company. I think of him everyday and can't believe he's gone, but he was truly a christian person and knew his bible well, so I know he's with the Lord. RIP my friend and I hope we meet again.

I met Eric through my husband Dean Harris. They were childhood friends. They Grew up together! He taught me a lot about painting, good memories! We also played a lot of golf with Eric ! Eric and Dean went fishing the Sunday before he passed and had a great time together. I am sure he will remember that time forever !! What a good soul he was ! We will miss him !!!

I loved Eric sooo much, and I know he loved me! Whenever we connected, all we talked about was our family and our Lord! We worshiped together sooo many times over the phone, and I cherish those memories! I grew sooo much spirituality by knowing him! I told him one time that if I go to heaven before he did, miss me but do not mourn for me! I will miss him, but I will not mourn over him! We WILL see him again! We need to "Keep looking up". Praying for u all!
