To the family of Charles, my heartfelt condolences for your loss. Please find comfort in the knowledge that God promises to put an end to all the things that have plagued mankind for centuries including pain, suffering and death (Revelation 21:3,4). May these promises from God's word, the Bible give you comfort now and real hope for the future. My deepest sympathy.

Huggs and prayers for Chuck Armours family. Chuck was our wedding photographer and we often look at photographs taken and appreciate those impromptu wedding shots. He had such a creative eye and will be missed for all his contributions to the Aiken photography family. Our prayers are with family.

We were heartbroken to hear of Chuck’s passing. He took pictures of our children from the time they were born and we have watched them grow through his beautiful portraits. There was no one quite like Chuck. He has been part of our family for years and we are simply devastated.
We are so glad that we were able to have him in our lives. He will be dearly missed.

Cathy's Dad and her brother attended our 15 year anniversary (if memory does not fail me) celebration of the BCCP program in Georgia. I had the pleasure to know Chuck and her father. He brought Cathy's father and cared a lot about his father and was very proud to see Cathy in action. Glad to share this picture! RIP

Chuck was a true southern gentleman. My children sat before him many times throughout the years for school, dance & sports portraits. His quality and creativity set him apart from other photographers. Aiken has lost a great talent.

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Chuck's death. He was my first love, for sure. It was always a thrill to see him pull into Ascauga Lake's parking lot in that big blue Chrysler. My sincere condolences to his family as they will surely miss his great smile.

What a charmer! Chuck Armour was truly a one-of-a-kind southern gentleman. Perfect hair, great smile and loved having a good tan. He was my step-dad in the early 90s. An iconic Aiken Photographer, he has been capturing photos since the 70s giving so many families memories that will last a lifetime. As a child, I have vivid, happy memories of Chuck. He grew banana trees, transformed our front and back yard gardens into a paradise for kids, bright marigolds, morning glories and zinnias. To use as props for his photographs, he made our playhouse into a dove cage and kept rabbits--Many of which were held by children growing up in Aiken throughout the years to make the perfect Easter photos, whether at Belk or in his studio. He also captured our awkward teenage moments being the designated photographer for social/cotillion. Patient as a saint. I remember accompanying him to photograph weddings, trips to the Highland Park pool, going to his parents house for long, sunny pool days. From crying as a child in the flower field getting pricked by thorns while he tried to capture the perfect picture all the way to taking my senior pictures.... we remained close. He also had a love for colorful, exotic birds, introducing them to my sister, fueling her love for them, too. I remember his old, white Lincoln with an A-Track... longer than a nascar race. Then his black, shiny Explorer with the blue waves. He was kind and gracious and loving. We got so excited every time he rolled in the driveway. He rarely forgot a birthday and loved us as if we were his own.
Rest in Paradise, Chuck. I hope yours is filled with eternal light and color.... as pretty as a picture. Just like you liked it. I love you
