JOHNSONVILLE – Rebecca Redd Heath Knoller, age 88, entered into rest unexpectedly Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at Palmetto Richland Memorial Hospital.
A memorial service will be held at 2pm on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church in Hemingway, SC with The Rev. Dr. Lisa Culpepper officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the church fellowship hall.
Mrs. Knoller was born October 15, 1929 in Aiken, SC to the late Olin Carley Redd and the late Lucille McClain Redd. She was a resident of Aiken, SC for forty eight years prior to residing in Johnsonville, SC for forty years. She was a member of St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Knoller will be remembered for her kind and helpful nature.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Willie H. Heath, and a sister, Oleen R. Witter. Survivors include her husband of forty years, Peter M. Knoller; a son, William O. Heath, Augusta, GA, a daughter, Lynne Heath Hicks (Robbie), Johnsonville, SC; two grandchildren, Lydia Hicks Balton (Kyle) and Carley Hicks; two great-grandchildren, Brody and Evie Balton, all of York, SC; a sister, Irma R. Hoffman, Charlotte, NC.; and many nieces, nephews, cherished family members and friends.
A graveside service was held at noon on Thursday, September 13, 2018 in Montmorenci First Baptist Church Cemetery with The Rev. Dr. Brian Coulter officiating.
