Dear Carol,
I grew up with Jim on ninth avenue in Munhall, Pa., in the fifties. I went to school with Jim and knew him well as a neighbor. We spent a lot of time together as close friends. He often told me stories about visiting with his relatives in Chicago. . Unfortunately, I lost track of him when we both went off to college. I knew his parents and grandparents very well and even remember one of his relatives who lived with him named Yash. I drove past his old home on ninth avenue in Munhall last year and thought about him. i was deeply shocked to hear of his untimely passing. May he rest in peace.
Please accept my deepest sympathies.
Regards, Bob
If you would like to talk with me about my memories of Jim, i am at 703 370-1037.

It was an honor for us having met Jim and shared with him some great moments like the one when we spent the holidays together. Jim was full of energy, full of joy and always smiling. It has been an honor living across the street from Jim and Carol's home. May God keep you under His arms and give you comfort. With love, from the Barquet Family Ernesto, Idalia, Ernesto Jr., Eduardo and Elisa

For Carol and family,
Jim was a good friend at work. I did his Project Controls schedules and we shared alot in common with our Catholic faith many good talks. We were prayer partners and Jim came to a couple of prayer meeting at Alleluia Community with me and our whole community prayed over him. Everytime I would come to get updates to Jim's schedules, he would ask for prayers and I would pray over him a prayer in simple faith for his healing. Little did I know that those prayers were for his strength to finish the race. What an awsome guy!
God bless you and your family.

I worked with Jim for several years on the MOX project and during his time with Shaw. He was truly a remarkable person. There was never a job too large or too small for Jim. His work ethic, enthusiasm, and smile were contagious. He had a genuine love for life and will be missed by many.
Carol and family, Kathy and my deepest sympathies. May Jim rest in peace with the Lord.

My deepest sympathy to the Pope family. There are thousands in this community who already miss the joy of Jim's presence; but not as great as all of you must. Jim always showed the fruit of the Holy Spirit to those who had the privilege to work and interact with him. His gentleness, patience, joy and love pervaded each of his thoughts and actions. He was a man of integrity. I worked with him often for the past 15 years and have fond memories too great to number or articulate. Take comfort in knowing that Jim is in the presence of the Lord now and that all pain and suffering associated with this world is behind him I Corinthians 15:51-57.

“Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, but love leaves a memory that no one can steal”.
I was stunned when I learned about Jim. At the Valley of Waste, Jim gathered a team, including myself, and led a successful result for which he deserves major credit. Intelligent, humble, persistent and a tireless worker captures some of Jim’s character. But his positive attitude was remarkable. Even when “tossed out of the bosses office”, he would get up, smile, laugh it off, formulate a new plan and go right back in.
Unable are the loved to die. For love is immortality.
