Funeral services for Miss Gladys Louise Willis will be held on Monday, December 28, 2009 at 1pm at George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 211 Park Ave, SW, Aiken. Interment will follow in Central Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jamie Whittle, Blake Willis, Steven Willis, Jason Jones, Coby Williford, Fabian Reyna. Honorary pallbearers will be the great nephews. The family will receive friends tonight Sunday from 6-8pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be directed to Golden Harvest Food Bank, 13 Enterprise Ave, Aiken, SC, 29803. Miss Willis, 76, of Aiken, died Friday, December 25, 2009 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. A life long resident of Aiken, she was the daughter of the late Fabian and Mamie Raborn Willis. Gladys graduated from St. Angels Academy and owned Willis Grocery. She was a member of Central Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Ernest Willis, and Gerney Willis. She is survived by her nephews, Fabian Vickie Willis, Aiken; Ronnie Julie Willis, Martinez, GA; Bargeron Roxanne Willis, Aiken; Ricky Willis, Aiken; niece, Theresa Ricky Young, Aiken; sister-in-law, Kathleen Willis, Aiken, numerous great nieces, great nephews, great great nieces, and great great nephews.
