Funeral services for Mr. James Lindsey ?Bill? Hall will be held Thursday, March 24, 2005 at 1 PM at George Funeral Homes, Historic Downtown Chapel, 211 Park Ave., SW, Aiken, SC with Mr. Don Wells officiating. Interment with Masonic Rites accorded by Aiken Lodge #156 will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens, Graniteville, SC. Pallbearers will be his nephews. Honorary pallbearers are Ken Leverett, Dave Harvey, Bob George and members of the Aiken County Shrine Club. The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 23, 2005 from 6 until 8 PM at the funeral home. Mr. Hall, 85, of Aiken, SC, died Sunday, evening, March 20, 2005 at his home. Born in Elberton, GA, a son of the late James Asbury and Catherine Elizabeth Hagood Hall, he had been a resident of Aiken, SC since 1951 where he retired from E. I. DuPont in 1982. A World War II veteran, he proudly served his country in United States Army in North Africa, Italy, and England where he obtained the rank of Staff Sergeant. Mr. Hall was a fifty-eight year Mason, a Scottish Rite Mason and was also Past President of the Aiken County Shrine Club. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and the Aiken Gem and Mineral Society. He is survived by a daughter, Patricia M. Martin, Aiken, SC; sons, Lindsey C. Hall, McCormick, SC and Thomas M. Hall, Aiken, SC; grandsons, Derek W. Martin, and James E. Patience, both of Aiken, SC; granddaughters, Sarah M. Hall, Topeka, KS and Stephanie Hayman, Lincolnton, GA; and two great-grandsons and his special friend and beloved pet, ?Tiger?. He was preceded in death by his wife of fifty-eight years Mrs. Estelle Martin Hall. Memorials may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children, 950 W. Faris Rd., Greenville, SC 29605-4277
