I'm sorry to hear of Jerry's death, but joyful as well as I know he is now rejoicing with our dear Lord Jesus, our Blessed Mother Mary and all of the Angels & Saints in heaven. He was always an encouragement to me and my family, always giving joyful witness to God's love wherever he went. I count it a blessing to have known Jerry and I know many others do as well. Roseanne and family,
My deepest sympathies at this time of loss. May you find comfort in family and friends and in the knowledge that Uncle Gerald has entered into peace and light.
"If I should die and leave you here a while, be not like others sore undone, who keep long vigil by the silent dust. For my sake turn again to life and smile, nerving thy heart and trembling hand to do something to comfort other hearts than thine. Complete these dear unfinished tasks of mine
and I perchance may therein comfort you."

You and Gerry were always there for our family - Mom's death and mostly our unbearable loss of John - you had the ladies of the church organized for such a lovely gathering. Mom is welcoming Gerry with open arms and they are chatting about all she has missed. Our love is with you, Peggy Herndon Ashley

Dear Auntie Roseanne, and family,
You are in my prayers daily. I wish that I could be there Tuesday. I will miss Uncle Gerry, as I know you are missing him now, and his laughter. There are times when the only correct response is his, "You may be right." I will always admire that ability of his to be non-confrontational, and hope to remember it's intent in all that I do. I'll write and call soon. Until then, please be well. Love,
B
