A Requiem Mass for Dorothy Flynn Lott will be celebrated at 1:30 pm on Thursday, June 19, 2014 at St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church. Burial will be private in Bethany Cemetery, under the care of GEORGE FUNERAL HOME. Memorial donations may be made to St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church.
Mrs. Lott, 88, of Aiken, passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2014. Born in Nicholasville, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late Thomas D. and Myrtia Snowden Flynn. She was a communicant of St. Mary and was a former "Pink Lady" volunteer at St. Joseph's Hospital in Augusta. She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, John Watson Lott; daughters, Mary Ann and Patricia Elaine; a sister, Mary Vivian Flynn; Anna Brock Flynn (wife of William A. Flynn).
Survivors include 3 grandchildren, Renae, Jennifer and Brian, including several great-grandchildren; a loving brother, William A. Flynn of Lexington, Kentucky; a nephew, David A. Flynn; 2 nieces, Kathi Flynn Crowe and Karen Flynn, all of Lexington, KY.
