Memorial services for Mrs. Betty Jo Deane Gossett will be held Saturday, July 23, 2005 at 11 AM at George Funeral Homes, Historic Downtown Chapel, 211 Park Ave., SW, Aiken, SC, with Neal Askew officiating. Interment will be private. Mrs. Gossett, 80, of Aiken, SC, died, Sunday, morning, July 17, 2005 at her home. Born in Matthews, MO, a daughter of the late Albert and Carrie Swindle Deane, she had been a resident of Los Angeles, CA for fifty-four years prior to coming to Aiken, SC in 1999. Mrs. Gossett retired from Crocker Bank after thirty-five years of service. She was a member of the Business and Professional Women?s Club and was a member as well as past president of the Westchester Chamber of Commerce. She is survived by her daughter, Jackie Thomas, Gerry Aiken, SC; grandchildren, Rebecca NugentJim, Amanda Thomas, and Megan RoyallMark, and six great-grandchildren, Madelyn, Aimee, Zachary, and Caleb Nugent and Jocelyn and Katheryn Royall. Her husband of sixty-one years, Mr. Dennis J. Gossett, preceded her in death May 6, 2004. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
