VAUCLUSE, SC - Memorial services for Clay Bowdry Floyd IV, who passed away on January 1, 2018, will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 20, 2018 in the George Funeral Chapel, 211 Park Ave., SW, with the Rev. K. Scott Ayers officiating.
Mr. Floyd was born December 9, 1947 in Denver, CO to the late Clay Bowdry Floyd III and the late Roberta P. Floyd. He had made Vaucluse his home since 2008, having previously lived in Lenoir, NC and Denver, CO. He was a self-employed business owner and an avid collector of vintage vacuum cleaners and DeSoto cars.
Mr. Floyd is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Richard Rustad; nieces, Elizabeth, Vera, and Julia Rustad; Richard's mother, Rebecca Rust; and his long term caregiver, Shirley Garrett.
