Obituary of Felicia Marie Lehman
Please share a memory of Felicia to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Aiken, SC - Felicia Marie Del Rosso Lehman, passed peacefully away with her husband by her side on Tuesday, May 26, 2015. She was born in March, 1945 raised in Dunmore, PA, the daughter of the late Ralph and Esther (Cupple) Del Rosso, the youngest of four children.
Felicia dedicated her life to care giving: professionally with 45 years as an RN and in nursing management for major hospitals in NJ, PA, and Virginia, retiring and moving to Cedar Creek, Aiken, SC in 2011; as a mother, raising two sons to be good husbands and fathers; as a grandmother, providing a summer haven for the grandkids much to the parents' delight; as a wife, providing diet and exercise to a man who worked way too much; and to friends and community, training others to save lives and assisting anyone she saw in distress, regardless of where she was at the time. Felicia made everyone "feel better" just by being around her.
Felicia lived life to the fullest, never half way. She was active in community service wherever she lived. Her passions were her Faith in God, marriage to the man in that "suit", inviting people into her home, pizza on Friday nights, the Arts and live theater, fitness and exercise, line dancing, food (cheese makes everything taste better) and good wine, her beloved cats, taking charge of everything, traveling the world, and the latest most frustrating…..golf. She was always positive and very strong, fearless and bold, go anywhere at any time, as long as her husband was handling the directions. Her world was filled with music, playing piano and loving Broadway shows, opera, Elvis, Cher, Bruce, Josh, and Paul McCartney. In Latin, Felicia means happiness and happy times, so the name fit her perfectly!
She gave endless love and was loved and will be missed by her survivors, husband Charles (Chuck) Lehman of Aiken, SC, two sons, Mark Nicosia (Jill) of Chadds Ford, PA, David Nicosia of Johnson City, NY, five grandsons, Luke and Jake in Chadds Ford and Joseph, Mark and Thomas in Johnson City, and brother Ralph (Joan) of Dunmore, PA.
