Aiken, SC-A memorial service for Mrs. Blanche Laura ''Bianca'' Alchesky will be held Saturday, May 4, 2002 at 11 AM at South Aiken Presbyterian Church, Aiken, SC, with Reverend John Frye officiating. The family will receive friends following the memorial service at the church. Interment will be private. Mrs. Alchesky, 79, of Aiken, SC, wife of the late Robert M. Latimer, died Wednesday, night, May 1, 2002. Born in Brooklyn, NY, daughter of the late Peter Ilardi and the late Elisa Scognamiglio, she had been a resident of Hudson Falls, NY, from 1967 until relocating to Aiken, SC, in 1988. Mrs. Alchesky retired as a cashier after twenty-five years of service with J.E. Sawyer Plumbing and Heating Company, Glens Falls, NY. While a resident of Aiken, SC, she was a member of South Aiken Presbyterian Church, W.O.W., Senior Adult Group at South Aiken Presbyterian Church, AARP, Town & Country Club, and was also chairman of the Out to Lunch Bunch. Surviving are sons, Gary P. Alchesky, Syracuse, NY, Jimmy S. Latimer, Hope Valley, RI, and Michael R. Latimer, San Antonio, TX; brother, Vincent H. Ilardi, Lake George, NY; and eight grandchildren.
