TUCSON, AZ - Dorothy G. Sullivan, 93, passed away on June 4th, 2016 in Tucson Arizona. Dorothy was a long time resident of Aiken, loving its beautiful flowers and bird life. She was particularly proud of her service during WWII as a WAVE in the U.S. NAVY. She married Roger Sullivan in 1945. He passed away in 1996 after 51 years of marriage. Dorothy was a tower of strength and the glue that held family tight. We will miss her every day. She is survived by her sister, Elaine, and two brothers, Terry and Richard, also by her daughter Kathleen and two sons, Robert and Stephen, by seven grandchildren, Jason, Leigh, Rebecca, Abby, Travis, Colleen, and Roger. She has five great grandchildren, Nicolas, Abigail, Adrian, Kailer, and Parker. Visitation to be held, 11:00 AM until 12:30 PM, June 16th at George Funeral Home, 211 Park Avenue S.W., Aiken. A Requiem Mass service will follow at 1pm at the old St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church on Park Ave. in Aiken. Interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery.
