AIKEN, SC- Deanna Burnham, age 75, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, December 28, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, January 3, 2018, at the Chapel of GEORGE FUNERAL HOME. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Army Emergency Relief, 307 Chamberlin Ave., Bldg. 33720, Ft. Gordon, Georgia, 33720. Deanna was born on September 9, 1942 in Goldsboro, NC, a daughter of the late Luke and Minnie Stack Hicks. She loved animals, visiting the beach, and being with her family. Deanna is survived by her beloved husband of forty one years, Eric Burnham; three children, Allen Burnham (Amy) Aiken, SC, Peter Burnham (Marcia) Luxembourg City, Luxembourg, and David Burnham (Sandra) Hiram, GA; seven grandchildren, Courtney Thompson (Dillon), Jane Clarke (Bradley), Sara Burnham, William Burnham, Anne Burnham, Derrick Burnham, Shannon Tankersley (Joshua), and four great-grandchildren, Caleb Thompson, Christopher Clarke, Joshua Tankersley Jr. (JR), and Ethan Tankersley due in January.
