Funeral services for Mrs. Reba Nell Dunsieth Brooks will be today at 1pm at George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 211 Park Ave. SW Aiken. Interment will follow at Jackson Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society. Mrs. Brooks, 55, of Jackson, died Saturday, August 5th at her residence. A daughter of Hoyt and Genell Parrish Dunsieth, she was born in Albertville, AL and had lived in Jackson her entire life. Before retiring in 1993, she had worked as a reproduction operator for DuPont at the Savannah River Site where she had worked for eighteen years. Reba had been a member of Jackson Church of Christ and was also a charter member of the Jackson Jayceettes. Mrs. Brooks is survived by her husband, Gordon R. Brooks, Jackson; a daughter, Amanda Cannady, Jackson; her parents, Hoyt and Genell Dunsieth, McCormick, GA; a brother, Eugene Dunsieth, Jackson; two sisters, Diane Dorner, Jackson and Brenda Edge, Beech Island. Mrs. Brooks is also survived by two grandchildren, Dylan Cannady and Madison Cannady, nine step grandchildren, four stepchildren and two sisters in law, Barbara Swann, Elkton, MD and Patricia Jacobs, Evista, PA.
