Mrs. Mary Margaret Benton Kissiah Homemaker New Ellenton, SC-Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Margaret Benton Kissiah will be held Friday, April 12, 2002 at 3 p.m. at Pineview Baptist Church, New Ellenton, SC, with Rev. Grady Yonce and Rev. Gary Hanna officiating. Mrs. Kissiah will be placed in the church at 2 p.m. Friday. Interment will follow in Southlawn Cemetery, Aiken, SC. Pallbearers will be Joey Kissiah, Robby Kissiah, Billy Kissiah, Jr., Jamie Baughman, Michael Kissiah, and Milton Sanders. The family will receive friends Thursday, April 11, 2002 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Kissiah, 72, of New Ellenton, SC, died Tuesday, afternoon, April 9, 2002 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. Born in Chesterfield County, SC, she had made New Ellenton her home for the past forty-eight years where she was a homemaker and a member of Pineview Baptist Church. Mrs. Kissiah was very active in Meals on Wheels and in the Senior Community. Surviving Mrs. Kissiah are sons, Billy Don Kissiah Annie, Aiken, SC, James Richard ?Rick? Kissiah Karen, Barnwell, SC, Johnnie Wayne Kissiah Stephanie, Aiken, SC, Randy Lee Kissiah, New Ellenton, SC, Jackie Lynn Kissiah Edna, New Ellenton, SC, and David Ronald Kissiah, Ft. Worth, TX; brothers, Jimmy Benton and Lloyd Benton, both of Jefferson, SC; sister, Thelma Renegar, Jefferson, SC; 18 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Parents, James N. and Ann Jordan Benton, step-mother, Dot Gainey, and grandsons, Christopher, John, and Michael John Kissiah, preceded Mrs. Kissiah in death.
